Ingredients:
- beef 250g diced
- 1 onion diced
- 5 tomatoes diced
- ginger – julienned
- tiny closed cup mushrooms – 1 pack
- hairy beans – sliced to 1″ pieces
- stock 1 pint
- coconut milk – half can (6 fl. oz)
- 2.5 tsp cumin
- 1.5 tsp ground coriander
- 1.5 tsp garam masala
- kecap manis
- soy sauce
- salt
Beef marinade -
- kecap manis
- soy sauce
- sugar
- xiao shing wine
- sesame oil
- all spice
Method:
- marinate beef for 2 hours +
- fry onions and garlic in oil, when starting to become transparent add in beef and all of marinade
- when beef is starting to brown add in tomatoes
- when tomatoes start to turn soft, add in mushrooms and hairy beans
- then pour stock over, stir in generous glug – simmer for 1 hour on medium/low heat
